I am utterly useless at this writing a blog…
Sorry, I have been busy juggling, being a mum, being someone’s partner,
gardener (my new passion and mission – growing flowers), someone mummy friend, researcher and have time to just be me.
Being someone mummy friend, takes a lot of time and energy- sometimes its painful! You wouldn’t think but it does depending on the mummy friend. Some of them are great. You click, and someone of them just impresses you with a silent question mark?????????????????????????????????????
Truth to be told, other mummy friends are unbelievable competitive, who’s baby learns the fastest, and age is not taken under consideration. BUT IT SHOULD! And honestly it all comes down to the breast milk.
I have without being aware of the fact that I am a researcher, a secret one. We all ask, is breast the best? Anyone whit a baby will ask.
Here is my conclusion, after reading books, watching documentary, speaking to midwife, and my friend’s dad who is a Dr and newly granddad and parents, and I have been observing everyone. Breast is the best.
My conclusion is based on a very important fact that I wish I new 6 months ago.
I found out a week ago, that my lovely friend who I love spending time with was breastfeed till the age of 4. I have always loved her company mostly because of her brain, so smart. You can actually have a conversation with her on a totally different level. I personally believe we fed each other with comedies and intelligent conversations. Her mum, I have adopted her to be an extra nana, on our first date… she is probably the first mother I have clicked with, seriously I have clicked and un-clic ked with mums. But we share the same philosophy when the subject is breast milk.
So whatever mummy friend you are, I am not up for “my baby is better competition”.
I have already finished the race as I believe that my breast milk is what is best for my baby and I will continue another 6 months, and then I guessing I really want my body back.
